It is a common struggle, but we cannot give up. Perseverance is the key. <\/p>\n

Here are 3 tricks that work:<\/p>\n

  1. The 2 Minute Song:<\/strong> It’s foolproof! Search Spotify or YouTube for “2 minute brushing song”. When the music plays, the brushing starts, and it doesn’t end until the song ends. It makes it predictable and fun. <\/li>\n
  2. The “Bug Hunt Game”:<\/strong> Instead of “washing”, let’s “hunt for sugar bugs! Make funny sounds (“Here’s one! Busted!”), exaggerate the search all over the molars. <\/li>\n
  3. The Doll’s Turn:<\/strong> Let your little one “brush” his or her favorite doll’s (or yours) teeth first. Then it’s their turn! Involving them in the game reduces resistance. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It’s not a battle of power, it’s about creating a habit. You can do it! <\/p>\n
