Do you put toothpaste on his toothbrush “by eye”? 🤫 Careful! Quantity DOES matter.
Using too much fluoride toothpaste in very young children can cause fluorosis, tiny white spots on their permanent teeth (those that have not yet erupted).
The golden rule is:
From 0 to 3 years: The size of a GRAIN OF RICE(Yes, that small).
🟢 F rom 3 to 6 years (or more): The size of a PEA (pea).
Both amounts should be with a toothpaste with at least 1000 ppm (parts per million) of fluoride, which is what protects against cavities!
