At age 3? At age 5? When something hurts? NO! ❌
The official recommendation of pediatric dentists is clear:
The first visit to the dentist should be when you turn ONE YEAR 🎂, or at the latest, 6 months after your first tooth comes in.
“So soon? But he barely has any teeth!”
Exactly! That first visit is NOT to “fix” anything, it is to PREVENT.
✅ Everything is checked to ensure that everything is in order (gums, braces, teeth eruption).
✅ They teach you the correct brushing technique for a baby.
✅ They give you advice on diet, bottle and pacifier.
✅ Most important: The baby becomes familiar with the environment
in a positive way.
